Which zones give the most sightings
- Turia (MP core): the most consistent, with river-fed water and the dominant male L. Mark.
- Karmajhiri (MP core): quieter. Langdi's former range is in flux after her death in March 2026.
- Khursapar (Maharashtra): usually the best tiger gate on the Maharashtra side.
- Telia (buffer): shares tigers with Turia, and gets attention for black leopard sightings.

Morning or afternoon?

Mornings are usually best, and in Pench they're long: MP morning drives run until 11:00–11:30 am, which gives plenty of time to follow alarm calls and fresh pugmarks. In April and May, late afternoons near water can be just as productive. Remember that MP afternoon drives don't run on Wednesdays.
