Custom Wildlife Tours in India
A custom tour gives you control over dates, pace and privacy. It suits families, photographers, honeymooners and multi-generation groups who need the safari to fit real lives—not the other way around.
From idea to forest gate
How a custom trip comes together

Select safari dates
We check the travel window against park operations and realistic arrival connections.

The controls are yours
What you can customise
Wild Excursions owns no lodge inventory. That independence lets us recommend a stay for its gate, service level and fit instead of steering every traveller toward a property we must fill.
- Trip length from the 1N/2D–4N/5D building blocks, with longer extensions available.
- One reserve in depth or a carefully routed multi-park circuit.
- Standard, semi-luxury or premium stays from an independent partner network.
- Private or shared vehicle arrangements, subject to park rules and availability.
- Photography focus, additional drives and naturalist-led interpretation.
- Airport, rail, city and inter-reserve transfers planned as part of the safari—not an afterthought.
More than one landscape
Multi-park wildlife circuits
A circuit only works when transfer days protect the safari drives. We calculate road time, reporting points and recovery windows before recommending the number of parks. More destinations do not automatically make a better wildlife holiday.

Custom safari FAQs
The essential questions before you start configuring a private tour.
How far in advance should I book a custom safari?
Book as early as practical, especially for peak-season core permits and specific lodges. Several months of lead time usually provides better choices.
Can I combine two national parks in one trip?
Yes. Kanha with Bandhavgarh and Tadoba with Pench are common examples. We check the road route and permit calendar before recommending the sequence.
Is a private safari more expensive than a group departure?
Usually, because fewer travellers share vehicles and transfers. The total depends on park, vehicle rules, resort tier, dates and party size.
